Made from UK manufactured birch dowels with latex rubber tip. Produced with care and attention, each stick is matched for weight and size.
These varnished sticks come without grips but have had two layers of clear water based varnished applied to weather-proof the sticks, prevent dirt build up, and allow easier cleaning whilst also giving the sticks a glossy yet natural look.
If you’re looking for a cheap but longer lasting durable stick, this is the one for you.
Weight: Usually down to personal preferance, though a lighter stick will generally sound better in a solo environment, whilst your Panorama drillmaster will complain if you use anything but the heaviest 😉 . Unless you have a definate light or heavy play style, choose standard weight to suit both.
Tips: Regular tips are recommended for most modern Double Tenors, and are the same as the Double Second’s regular tips which makes them multi-use. The hard tip will normally sound better on all but the lowest notes, and on older pans, though limits the stick’s use to only Double Tenor (but why you want to join the seconds section anyway, it’s just full of weirdos and grumpy old people… 😀 ).
